NEW BLACKBOARD REAL-TIME TUTORING

 

As many of you approach your first tests of the semester, please note that online tutoring is available through Blackboard at the following times.

All students enrolled in these courses have the ability to log onto Blackboard during the designated hours and communicate directly with a tutor.  Students can also access archived sessions through Blackboard.  You may ask a question or learn from the responses to students who are asking questions.

               

To Sign in to Blackboard’s

Whiteboard for Online Tutoring 

1.  Sign onto Blackboard with your username and password. 

2.  Select the applicable course under ‘My Courses’ (example: CHM231 Online Tutoring).

3.  Select Communication from the menu on the left of the page.

4.  Select Collaboration.

5.  To the right of Lecture Hall: Virtual Classroom, select ‘Join’.  (Make sure you have a

     Java Plug-In and that your pop-up blockers are disabled—the system will notify you of

     any necessary requirements.)

 

   

To View Archived Sessions

1. Follow steps 1 thru 4 above.

2. To the right of Lecture Hall: Virtual Classroom, select ‘Recordings’.

3. Then select the date of the session you wish to view under ‘Recording Name’r
