USDA Raised Bed Program Summer Internship Opening

The Baxter Community Center has announced two open internship positions for summer 2013! Each position will receive a $1,500 stipend for their 10 hour per week, 16 week commitment (May 1st through August 31st).

Interns will assist the Greenhouse Program Coordinator with the new Raised Bed Program, organizing events and classes, following up with community members, and participating in related activities—as both a representative of Baxter and knowledgeable grower.

Downtown Market GR Internship

The Downtown Market is looking for a Market Assistant/Event Coordinator intern for the 2013 season. This position is under the direction of the Market Manager/Event Coordinator. The primary responsibilities of this position are to assist with all aspects of operation for the Outdoor Farmers Market and other on-site events.
