Faculty & Staff Involvement

 

 

We encourage faculty and staff members of all disciplines to practice sustainability in their department offices and on the GVSU campus. Resources such as the Sustainable Office Survey and the Sustainable Community Reinvestment Fund allow faculty and staff members to gauge their current practices and support their sustainability endeavors.

Sustainable Office Survey
At GVSU we wish to recognize sustainable office practices by offering this Sustainable Office Award. The award (4 levels) is for a department, individual or both. Our hope is that the award will promote awareness as well as recognition of best practice in sustainability across campus.

 

Sustainable Community Reinvestment Fund
Established in 2010, funds will be used in the form of mini grants and/or mini loans by faculty, staff and students for sustainable development projects both on campus and in the community.

 

Green Library
The Green Library is an online resource through the GVSU Library website. This tool was made to start filling the gap between the university community and sustainability research instruments.
