What is a Success Story?
Grand Valley’s students, faculty, staff, and alumni are doing interesting and amazing things all the time. This site
gives viewers an inside look at the people who are making significant achievements in their academic life or professional
field or in the community.
Examples include: prestigious teaching and research awards, award-winning academic programs, prestigious admissions to
graduate school, compelling private/public partnership initiatives, unique study abroad or cultural exchange programs, etc.
How can I find a certain Success Story?
If you are looking for a specific success story, you can search a database of all success stories past and present using the
function on the search page. If you do not find the one you are looking for, please check back later. Stories are continually
added to the database.
Who can submit a story?
Anyone can submit an idea for a Success Story. All story submissions are reviewed by the Success Story Committee. If your idea is selected, you will be contacted for more information.
