Jessica Ansara, Jordan
The past four months have been extraordinary. While abroad in Jordan, I’ve spent a weekend living with a native Jordanian Bedouin family and milked goats, conducted independent research on stroke prevention, traveled to refugee camps and non profit organizations, and learned about the healthcare response for the Syrian refugee crisis. Being abroad has given me a skill set that no classroom could have given me.
