Service learning placements will be tailored to the interests of the participants.
Students will get to experience Haitian culture and gain an understanding of daily life in rural Haiti. Though Haiti is known for its complex social, environmental, economic, and cultural issues, the Haitian people show great resilience and optimism in the face of these challenges. On this program, students will participate in service learning, field trips, group activities and discussions surrounding the topics of water, Haitian culture, the environment, and other complex issues.
