About Universidad del Bío Bío (Chile):
Concepción and Chillán, Chile— It’s hard to imagine a more warm and welcoming place than Universidad del Bío Bío (UBB) located in Concepción and Chillán, Chile. Having earned a reputation for high academic standards, a supportive educational environment, and a vibrant student culture, UBB offers GV students an opportunity to fully immerse into Chilean life and culture. There are two primary campuses, Concepción and Chillán. The city of Concepción, where UBB’s main campus is located, offers a lively environment with bustling plazas, pedestrian streets packed with local shops, and restaurants serving a wide range of local and international cuisine Concepción is 20 minutes from the coast and is centrally located for those who have an interest in exploring other parts of Chile. Chillán is an hour east of Concepción and is near the Andes Mountain range. While Chillán is a much smaller town, it offers a very friendly plaza where people of all ages meet to socialize.
