BRINGING THE WORLD TO YOU
Students interested in studying abroad should plan on attending our Fall semester Study Abroad Fair - PIC's biggest event of the year! Come and learn about all the different study abroad program options available to you as a GVSU student (and enjoy FREE FOOD AND DRINKS)! LIB 100/201 APPROVED!
This annual event gives you the chance to meet program directors and past study abroad participants, browse the international opportunities available and begin planning for your journey abroad.
First Step Meeting
We highly recommend attending a Study Abroad First Step Meeting prior to the Fair. They are informational sessions that go over all the basics of study abroad, including how to pick a program, funding, academic information and more.
They are held every Wednesday 5-6pm, 130 Lake Ontario Hall and every Thursday 5-6pm, 040 (Exhibition Space) Mary Idema Pew Library.
If you are not able to attend one, we have an on-line module.
Start searching for programs prior to the fair and note the programs that interest you, so you can be sure to visit their table.
The Program Search will help you find a GVSU program that fits your needs. If you do not find what you're looking for by browsing GVSU Programs using the search engine, we encourage you to look for a Non-GVSU Program. Remember, while participating in a Non-GVSU Program, you'll maintain your GVSU student status, earn credits toward your GVSU degree and have access to your GVSU financial Aid package. The below is a list of Non-GVSU Program providers that will be at the Study Abroad Fair.
