This process is not necessary if the course you wish to take abroad appears on the pre-approved course list below. Grand Valley students should begin the credit approval process by printing off the course descriptions of the classes they wish to take abroad (which can be found at the respective university’s website), and visiting the chair or faculty member of the relevant GVSU academic department to secure a GVSU course equivalency. The Study Abroad Credit Form must be completed and submitted to the Padnos International Center in order for the course equivalency to be official. Course Equivalencies for Partnership Universities Pre-approved Courses You will find a list of pre-approved courses that previous study abroad participants have taken at the respective partnership university listed below. If you are planning on taking a course that is already listed under the following links, you *do not* need to complete the Study Abroad Credit Form. Please remember that these are not the only courses offered by the partner institution. They are also not necessarily offered every semester.
