Study Abroad is a great way for Graduate students to earn credit, build your resume, complete an internship, or do research. With proper planning and advising, Graduate students have opportunities to study or intern abroad. Faculty Advising
We recommend that all students speak with a faculty adviser while planning their study abroad. Faculty advisers can help you choose what courses you should take, guide an independent study, or provide general advising regarding your particular program. Be sure to communicate with your faculty adviser to assure the smoothest study abroad process.

Funding
Grand Valley offers plenty of scholarship and grant options for Graduate students who want to study abroad, but there are even more options for Graduate students who need more funding. There are many other universities or providers who offer programs accessible for graduate students who wish to study abroad, whether you hope to study, intern, or complete a practicum!
