Glimpse Abroad

Use these steps to find all of the Glimpse articles about study abroad topics.  Topics include culture shock, language learning, developing countries, American steroetypes, and much more.

1. Go to http://www.glimpse.org/ and click on Register in the upper right corner.

2. Fill out the required information to register.

3. Click on Groups, then search for Grand Valley State University.  Join this group, NOT the GVSU Study Abroad, Padnos International Center group.

4. Once you are a member, you will have access to the Acclimation Guides, discussion boards, and you are able to create a blog to share your study abroad experience with other students.

5. On the left side of your screen, choose the menu item that says Free Stuff and choose Study Abroad Acclimation Guides.

6. Beneath each guide, there is a download button and a password. Be sure to know the password when you click download. You will need to enter it before the PDF will open.
