Flight Arrangement Information All students are responsible for making their own flight arrangements (with the exception of the China-Japan Friendship Hospital program). Arrangements should be made after receiving confirmation of your final acceptance from your program sponsor. For students participating in a GVSU exchange program, flight arrangements should be made after the host institution issues an acceptance letter.
Students participating in a non-GVSU program should contact their study abroad provider to find out if a group flight is included in the cost of their program. This will vary from program to program. You must make a round-trip ticket purchase when you secure your airline reservation. If you are uncertain of your exact date of return when you purchase your ticket, plan to purchase an open-ended ticket or pay a fee to change your return date at a later time. Ask the agent for information on the penalty for changing your return date after you have secured your reservation, in many cases the fee will be minimal. |
