Academic Adviser

Meeting with your academic advisor prior to picking a study abroad program will help you make more informed decisions about what courses to take while you are studying at the host institution. An academic advisor may be able to point out additional considerations that are specific to your major, minor, or General Education requirements. The Academic Planning Form may help you plan out your courses abroad.

Major/ Minor Advice

This is a resource that help direct students to study abroad programs that are compatible with a particular major/degree program. Our goal is to create a resource that can ultimately be used to help students identify a set of ideal study abroad programs in which they can continue to advance towards their degree at GVSU by taking courses in their major or minor. If your major or minor is not listed here, your eligibility to study abroad is in no way affected. Please feel free to utilize this tool and/or to contact us with any question.
