About Universidad del Bio Bio With two primary campuses, Concepcion and Chilian, UBB offers a wide-range of curricular options including: business, engineering, education, English, psychology, social work, health sciences, Chilean culture and more. This program is most suitable for Spanish majors and minors, but it is also a great location for those interested in English education.
	Location The city of Concepcion, where UBB’s main campus is located, offers a lively environment with bustling plazas, pedestrian streets packed with local shops, and restaurants serving a wide range of local and international cuisine Concepcion is 20 minutes from the coast and is centrally located for those who have an interest in exploring other parts of Chile. Chillan is an hour east of Concepcion and is near the Andes Mountain range. While Chillan is a much smaller town, it offers a very friendly plaza where people of all ages meet to socialize.
Housing Students have three options to choose from in Concepcion. 1) Homestay – everything included: meals, laundry, etc. 2) Pension – renting a room in a local home – meals may not be included 3) Apartment with other international students – Great option! Includes: wifi, laundry and utilities. Kitchen available for meal preparation. *All housing within walking distance from campus.
