Academic Planning: EUSA Internship

The information below is relevant to students participating in the EUSA internship program. The credits you will be receiving are considered GVSU courses, therefore you will be receiving a letter grade for your EUSA internship.

Now that you've determined which degree requirements you would like to fulfill abroad, here's what you need to do next: (If not, click here)

Step 1: Identify a Faculty Supervisor

Students arrange to pursue coursework related to their internship under the supervision of a Grand Valley faculty member in their chosen field. A course designation is determined according to the disciplinary focus of the internship (e.g., ACC 490 Accounting Internship, etc).

Students seeking a practicum meeting professional licensing requirements should consult their advisor before applying in order to determine whether the EUSA program fulfills licensing requirements. This program is not designed to fulfill student teaching requirements for teacher certification.

Step 2: Register for Courses

After you are accepted to the EUSA program, you may register for the designated course(s). Log on to myBanner, and select the semester and course(s) you will be fulfilling while abroad.

If you have any questions regarding registering for courses, please contact Elena Selezneva: seleznee@gvsu.edu
