2018 Status
Achieved
In 2018 our findings were as follows • 100-level – All majors: 33.02% emergent or above at mid-semester, slightly below the 40% threshold for the end of the semester • 200-level – All majors: 56.78% emergent or above at mid semester, above the 50% threshold for the end of the semester • 300-level – All majors: 46% emergent or above at mid-semester, below the 60% threshold for the end of the semester (note that in contrast to the 300-level students in EDI 331 last year, almost all of the students in 300 level courses assessed were non-majors). • 400-level – All majors: 73.91% emergent or above at mid semester, above the 65% threshold for the end of the semester The number of majors captured by the assessment process was 23 for HST and 28 for GPST. • Sophomores: 2 HST students are at the emergent level while the 2 GPST students were at the basic level. • Juniors: 77.77% of the 9 HST students are at or above the emergent level (44% proficient, 33% emergent) while the 2 GPST students were at the basic level. • Seniors: 75% of the 12 HST students are at or above the emergent level (50% proficient, 25% emergent) while 60.52% of the 28 GPST students were at or above the emergent level (17.86% proficient, 42.86% emergent).
