Outcome ABA.A Ethical and Professional Conduct

Students will demonstrate knowledge and ability to conduct themselves in an ethical and professional manner consistent with the ethical competencies outlined by the Behavior Analyst Certification Board.
Objective 36 Students will demonstrate competency in ethics and diversity relevant to applied behavior analysis as specified in the BACB 4th Edition Task List. Competency will be demonstrated through performance on a culminating project in PSY 527.

Outcome ABA.B Concepts and Principles of Behavior Analysis

Students will demonstrate knowledge and application of the principles and concepts of behavior analysis as defined by the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB).
Objective 34 Students will show competency on the concepts and principles of applied behavior analysis as specified in the BACB 4th Edition Task List. Competency will be demonstrated through performance on a competency exam taken after completion of the six-course sequence for the ABA certificate.

Outcome ABA.C Research Methods in Behavior Analysis

Students will demonstrate competency in measurement and experimental design as they apply to applied behavior analysis, and as specified by the Behavior Analyst Certification Board.
Objective 37 Students will show competency in research measurement and experimental design within applied behavior analysis as specified in the BACB 4th Edition Task List. Competency will be demonstrated through performance on two culminating assignments in PSY 550.

Outcome ABA.D Applications of Behavior Analysis

Students will demonstrate competency in applying and using the principles of behavior analysis in practical settings. These competencies are specified by the Behavior Analyst Certification Board.
Objective 38 Students will demonstrate the ability to apply concepts and principles of applied behavior analysis as specified in the BACB 4th Edition Task List. Competency will be demonstrated through performance on a competency exam taken at the end of the six-course sequence for the ABA certificate.

Four students attempted the BCBA exam in 2018. Three of the students passed the exam. The fourth student is studying to retake the exam.
