The Disney College Program is an once-in-a-lifetime, living, learning, and earning internship opportunity. You will spend 5 to 7 months in either Orlando Florida or Anaheim California. You will be working in one of our world famous theme parks, resorts, water-parks, or other areas. The primary focus of the Disney College Program is on transferable skills that can be applied to all college levels and majors. Skills like Time Management, Leadership, Communication, Guest Service, and working with Guests and Cast Members from all over the world in an extremely high volume and fast paced location. Housing and Transportation are offered on both coasts. Lastly, we offer several classes recommended for credit by the American Council on Education which have all been approved for 3 credits each - including the work component of our program. The educational component is required in California. Many networking opportunities are available to advance your career and learn from Executives and Leaders within the Disney Company, one of the most well-recognized and reputable companies in the world.
Disney also offers professional internships for a more focused experience in your chosen field or area of study. There are over 300 professional internships available per semester and they range in length from 6 to 12 months. Housing is available, but very limited, so apply early. Transportation is not provided outside normal public transportation. To apply, log onto DisneyInterns.com and search the keyword “Intern” to see the roles we are currently accepting applications for. These will range from areas in Animal Programs, Accounting, Marketing and Special Events. If selected for consideration, they will follow up with you by phone within a few weeks. Keep in mind, many of these positions require successful completion of the Disney College Program before you are eligible. These are highly competitive positions and can open many doors and potentially lead you to a full time career within the company.
