About
Threatened Innocence
The purpose of this organization shall be to spread information and education about the problem of child sex-trafficking both locally and nationally to our peers and community. In doing so we will also support our current partners International Crisis Aid through education and fundraising.
Threatened Innocence of Grand Valley State University is currently partnered with International Crisis Aid. International Crisis Aid provides the basis of our educational resources and we support them through fundraising. Fundraising partnership is specifically with ICA's Safe Program that works to rescue children from Sex Trafficking.
The membership of Threatened Innocence shall consist of any interested students and faculty at GVSU who are currently enrolled. It is the policy of GVSU and Threatened Innocence that no person on the basis of age, color, disability, familial status, height, marital status, national origin, political affiliation, race, religion, sex/gender, sexual orientation, veteran status, weight, eating habits, or personal hygiene shall be discriminated against.
Every member must have the interest in our group and come to at least two meetings within the school calendar year not including events but including instances where in more than 3/4 of the official members or officers are gathered.
