We, the Model Arab League strive to educate the students of Grand Valley State University through direct participation and immersion in Middle Eastern politics, culture and society. Primarily through simulated summits of the Arab League, we aim to increase the global cultural literacy of not only the campus, but also the surrounding community. The purpose of this organization shall be to provide a forum for discussion and debate, in keeping with our mission statement. Through these sorts of activities, we will cultivate the development of professional skills such as, teamwork, leadership skills, problem solving, public speaking and diplomacy.
