To Write Love On Her Arms is a student organization aimed to raise awareness to issues relating to students, including depression, addiction, and suicidal thoughts, mainly done through music as a medium.
On campus at Grand Valley we want to build a community that is not afraid to talk about and deal with tough issues such as depression, suicide, and addiction. We want all students to know that life is worth living, recovery is possible, depression is treatable, and that there is always hope. We want to create a safe place for students to live in relationship with one another, and if needed we want to provide you with the resources you need to receive help or treatment.
In addition to weekly meetings we host at least one Open Mic Night event a year, as well as other concerts and panel/discussion based events.
