The GVSU Biochemistry and Molecular Biology Club is an affiliate for the American Society for Biochemistry and Molecular Biology (ASBMB). Students from multiple scientific departments (Chemistry, Biology, Cell and Molecular Biology, and Biomedical Health Sciences) will be learning about biochemical research performed at graduate schools and in industrial positions. In addition, the Graduate Records Examination (GRE) and summer research opportunities will be explored. The club members will host and attend seminars presented by current graduate students and professors from universities in the Midwest region. In addition, for the students who have performed research at GVSU, a few student members will be presenting their work at the national meeting of the ASBMB. Any student is welcome to join the club, as student and professor collaboration is strongly encouraged.

Meeting Times
No regular meetings: presentations are planned and announced throughout the academic year.
