Philosopy Club (aka The Philosophical Society of GVSU) is dedicated to the advancement of undergraduate excellence in the study of philosophy, and the promotion of philosophical thought and dialectic on the Grand Valley campus and in the community at large. To that end we try to invite recognized philosophers to enrich the Grand Valley intellectual life.

Philosophy Club meetings are held weekly during the Fall and Winter semesters. The meetings are informal and are usually based on discussion of a selected topic or short reading, or involve a presentation by a student, GVSU faculty member or external guest speaker. Everyone is welcome to attend Philosophical Society meetings.
No special background in philosophy is required and it’s OK to just come for part of a meeting if that’s all that your schedule allows.

Meeting times, locations and topics can be found at: http://www.gvsu.edu/philosophy/philosophy-club-57.htm

The GVSU Philosophy Club also has a facebook page: http://www.facebook.com/pages/GVSU-Philosophy-Club/25160084914

We hope to see you at the next meeting!
