The Laker Dance Team is one of the most spirited and involved organizations on campus! Consisting of 16 talented and hard working women, the Laker Dance Team is an integral part of Grand Valley's school spirit & support for Grand Valley Athletics. We take pride in performing at all of the home football games as well as the men's home basketball games. In addition, we make several other campus appearances and compete every Spring on a national level at the National Dance Alliance Collegiate Nationals in Daytona, Florida. This past year the Laker Dance Team was the 2011 DivisionII Dance National Champions and created a name for GVSU in the dance team world. The Laker Dance Team strives to be a positive role model for women in sports- on campus, in the community, and nationally. It is our duty to positively represent GVSU and promote its excellence on a daily basis.
