Rowing at Grand Valley started in 1964 and was the college's first Varsity sport. The team, now a club program, has over 100 members and travels both nationally and internationally in search of top competition. The team has been club national champions three years running and is well-known in the rowing world for having a strong and dynamic program. The rowing team's success is the product of experienced coaches as well as dedicated athletes, who form life-long friendships through their commitment and hard work.
