What We're About
Founded in 2006, Grand Valley Pompon is a traditional Mid American style pompon team that competes at the colligate level. The program was founded so individuals did not have to leave their love for the sport at high school, but rather could continue their passion as an outlet throughout their college journey.
Grand Valley pompon strives to promote team unity, sportsmanship, loyalty, campus evolvement, and enthusiasm among its member. Our program offers a multitude of benefits and lessons to our members including academic support, time management skills, responsibility, team collaboration, leadership opportunities, and campus involvement.
Membership
Team members are selected based of of performance skills, showmanship, and enthusiasm for the team as well as Grand Valley. GV pom does require strong commitment and dedication from all team members, but does promote involvement in other outside organizations. Members must be enrolled in at least 6 credit hours at Grand Valley State University and be in good academic standing.
