GVRC works to connect members in many ways in addition to providing weekly opportunities for speed workouts, long runs, and easy days. Past events and shenanigans have included (but are never limited to) nearly-naked snow day runs, adventure mud runs through the ravines, pasta dinners -- we love food, spontaneous ultimate frisbee, Halloween costume runs, rollerskating, and holiday parties. Do you miss high school cross country meets? We provide information and networking for local road races and NIRCA competitive races throughout the region. Past races have included on-campus races like Family Weekend 5k, Homecoming 5k, and Wheel Run. We confidently venture away from campus racing Irish Jig in East Grand Rapids and an over-night bonding extravaganza for the Frozen Foot 5-mile in Traverse City, MI. We even host our very own road race: Grand Valley Turkey Trot. We reach out to the greater community through volunteering at local high school cross country meets, road races, and triathlons.

Meeting Times
Meetings are biweekly: Mondays around 9PM. 2012/2013 room location in the Allendale campus TBA.
