On October 16, 2009, Spotlight Productions hosted the GVSU Homecoming Concert, featuring Motion City Soundtrack and special guest The Silent years. Over 2000 people attended the show, making it a huge success. Motion City Soundtrack played songs from their upcoming album My Dinosaur Life, which were well received by the crowd.
