Spotlight Productions also upholds events that have grown into traditions over the years such as:
Last Laker Standing: A stand-up comedy competition where students are pitted against one another, for prizes, to see who will be the funniest and who will be the last Laker standing.
Tom DeLuca: Renowned hypnotist unleashes his hypnosis power on students which is nothing short of entertaining and hilarious.

How does Spotlight Productions work?
Spotlight Productions work like most organizations do on campus. We have a President, a Vice-President, VP of Finace, VP of Marketing, VP of Records all of which are considered the executive board (E-board).
In addition to the E-board there are three (3) committees; Music, Comedy, and E.T.C (Events and Traditions Committee) all of which have their own Chairs.
Music committee books and handles all bands, musical artists, and is in charge of 'Open Mic Night' located in lower Kirkhof in Area 51.
Comedy committee books, organizes, and handles all the comedians that come to campus.
Events and Traditions committee (E.T.C) books and handles the various entertainment acts, speakers, and other events that we bring to campus
When and Where are the meetings?
Meetings are held in Kirkhof center every Monday at 9pm. Specific room locations can vary depending on reservations of rooms by other organizations but they always take place in Kirkhof Center.
Why should I join Spotlight Productions?
Because it's fun! We get to decide, organize, book, and present various acts whether it be musicians (solo or band), comedians, entertainment acts, and other interesting speakers.
Plus, it's a great experience. You meet and get to know people on campus and get to be a part of concerts, and comedic shows, and any other event we bring to campus.
How do I join Spotlight Productions?
It's as easy as coming to one of our meetings. Just show up and say you're interested in joining.
