Summer Job Fair

The Summer Job Fair is an annual event sponsored by Career Services and the Student Employment Office giving employers the opportunity to recruit students for full and part-time summer employment as well as internship possibilities.

Students have the opportunity to talk with a range of employers and submit resume's to employers looking for students for summer, either full time, part-time or internships. Employer registration for the 2012 Summer Job Fair begins November 15, 2011.
 

 This coming year the Summer Job Fair will be on Thursday, March 15, 2012 from 11am - 3pm in the Henry Hall Atrium on GVSU's Allendale Campus. EMPLOYERS CLICK HERE TO LEARN HOW TO REGISTER

Employee Appreciation Days

Student Employee Appreciation Week is celebrated on college campuses across the nation during the second week of April. As part of this celebration Grand Valley State University's Student Employment Office coordinates the annual Student Employee Appreciation Days as a way to show GVSU's 2,500 plus student workers how highly they are valued.

There are various events held throughout the week. A few of the events are a Hot Dog Roast sponsored by Aramark, a Dessert Day sponsored by the Clerical Office Technical Association, and an invite to a Grand Rapids Griffins hockey game to round out the week.
