Tuition Rates and Special Course Fees

2012-2013 TUITION AND FEE SCHEDULE
RATES PER SEMESTER 

Michigan resident, lower division:
$5,039 for 12-15 credits
$420 per credit hour for 1 to 11 credits and for each credit over 15. 

Michigan resident, upper division:  
$5,291 for 12-15 credits
$441 per credit hour for 1 to 11 credits and for each credit over 15.

Michigan resident, masters:  
* $522 - $557 per credit hour depending on program 

Michigan resident, doctoral:
$627 per credit hour

Non-resident, lower division: 
$7,284 for 12-15 credits
$607 per credit hour for 1 to 11 credits and for each credit over 15

Non-resident, upper division: 
$7,548 for 12-15 credits
$629 per credit hour for 1 to 11 credits and for each credit over 15

Non-resident, masters:  
* $705 - $740 per credit hour depending on program

Non-resident, doctoral:
$840 per credit hour

 

A per credit hour surcharge will be assessed to those undergraduate students taking classes that require special equipment, consumable supplies or extraordinary overhead.

Students classified as undergraduates registering for masters and doctorate courses pay undergraduate tuition rates.

Students are classified as upper division upon earning their 55th semester credit.

Students classified as graduates pay their graduate program tuition rate for all courses taken.
