Amanda Whitmore has served in a variety of human service capacities, involving employment, education, basic needs, and other means of poverty amelioration. Amanda's current position requires her to locate, coordinate, and monitor services for GoodTemps temporary employees by providing employment support services that will help them retain and advance in their positions. Job retention and money management classes are among the supports she has developed since joining GoodTemps.
Amanda previously served as an AmeriCorps computer and employability skills instructor at Goodwill Industries of Greater Grand Rapids. She has been involved with a variety of educational, mentorship, legal, international, and other nonprofit projects and currently teaches weekend ESL classes, which allows her to exercise her passion for the Spanish language and volunteerism.
Amanda holds a Bachelor's of Arts degree from Grand Valley State University, with a concentration in Human Rights and Human Development. In coming years, she plans to attend graduate school to obtain her Master's in Public Administration.
