12:00 pm - 1:00 pm - “Getting Licensed in Michigan” Information Session - Professor Jamie Langlois, LMSW will present guidelines for obtaining state licensure and discuss steps and timeline for applying and maintaining licensure.
1:00 pm - 1:30 pm - “Building a Social Work Community Outside of School: The Importance of NASW” - Duane Breijak, LLMSW NASW Director of Member Services and Development
1:30 pm - 3:30 pm - Field Fair: Students will be able to network with employers to inquire about specific careers within the field of social work. Also gain information on volunteer, internship and employment opportunities.
2:00 pm – 3:00 pm - “Celebrating Excellence in Student Leadership: 2012 Social Work Student of the Year Awards” -NASW Michigan will present awards to students from seven universities
