Cultural and Service Learning Experience

A THREE WEEK LEARNING EXPERIENCE/IMMERSION THAT WILL INCLUDE:

Academics, service learning, and cultural learning opportunities. 

Attend classes at the University of Cape Coast. 
Visit the King's Palace in the Ashanti village of Kumasi. 
Visit with an African Chief and the Queen Mother. 
Visit the W.E.B. DuBois Cultural Center and the Kwame
Nkrumah Museum. 
View the beaches of Upper Valta and much more.

12 - 15 students from the MSW and BSW program will be selected.Students should be in good health.

MSW courses SW 600, 601, 603, 610, 620 and BSW courses SW 300, 319, 340/341 are prerequisites.  Credit for SW 630 for MSW's and SW 354 for BSW's will be given.
