In my time at GVSU, I have had many professors who care about the job we will do in the work force. Their drive and determination to improve the quality of research and overall work has helped me focus on what I want to accomplish. Improving the b lives of youth through athletics.

My current place of employment is the Salvation Army Ray & Jon Kroc Corps Community Center. My position is facility supervisor, and my job responsibilities are managing the entire facility of each department, setting up and breaking down events, customer service, security, and first responder. I recently left a position in Grand Rapids Public Schools at Burton Middle School as an Athletic Director. In this position, I direct and supervise the sports programs and coaches to ensure the student athletes benefit and grow as young men and women. My ultimate goal is to become an Athletic Director for secondary education. Although this may be my main goal currently, I am sure that could change at any moment depending what opportunities come my way.
