"My concentration in the MPA program was Nonprofit Management and Leadership. During my time in the program I came to understand the nonprofit sector and its role in society. Professors encouraged me to take what I was learning in the classroom and apply it through service learning opportunities, my internship, and my graduate assistantship. The experiences I gained through applied learning gave me a great deal of confidence as I applied for jobs and entered the workforce."
