Katherine Fuller Katherine works as a fiscal management analyst in the Office of Grants Coordination & School Support at the Michigan Department of Education. In this position, she manages millions of dollars in federal grant money for the Child & Adult Care Food Program, a program that provides federal funds to nonresidential child care facilities so they can serve nutritious meals and snacks to children. Previously, she worked as an investigator at the Michigan Department of Civil Rights.

"The MPA program in the School of Nonprofit and Public Administration provided me with the tools to build a solid foundation for my career. After graduation, I felt confident that I could achieve professional success in any number of public service agencies. The depth and variety of knowledge of the professors and the relevance of the curriculum are the main benefits of pursuing the MPA degree at GVSU. I found the diversity of thought and teaching methods translated to a more well-rounded perspective that guides me as I do my part in helping to build better communities.
