Donijo Robbins is an associate professor and teaches public financial management and research methods courses. A native of West Michigan, she received her bachelor's degree from Central Michigan University, a master's in economics and a PhD in public administration from Rutgers University - Newark. Prior to joining the faculty at GVSU, she was a faculty member at the University of Maine.
Her publications have appeared in the International Journal of Public Administration, Journal of Budgeting, Accounting, and Financial Management, Journal of Labor Research, Public Performance and Management Review, and Public Administration Quarterly. In addition, Prof Robbins has published chapters on cost-benefit analysis and the role of budgets in accounting and productivity.
