William R. Jewell

William R. Jewell is an Attorney with Smith Haughey Rice & Roegge, P.C. He received his Juris Doctorate from the University of Toledo, graduating cum laude in 1983. His area of expertise is health care law and he has experience representing hospitals, physicians, dentists and other health care providers. He is a member of the board of directors for Michigan Society of Healthcare Risk Management. He is a member of American Bar Association, State Bar of Michigan, Michigan Society of Healthcare Attorneys, Michigan Defense Trial Counsel, American Health Lawyers Association, American Society of Law, Medicine and Ethics.

Peter A. Letzmann

Peter A. Letzmann is an attorney, mediator, consultant and speaker. He graduated from the University of Detroit Mercy School of Law 1972 and his BA from Wayne State University. He has attended the FBI's Police Legal Advisors Academy and other continuing education courses for municipal attorneys. He is currently in private practice, but was the City Attorney of Troy, Michigan for seventeen years, a Deputy City Attorney for the City of Pontiac and an Assistant Corporation Counsel for the City of Detroit.

Letzmann has made hundreds of presentations regarding legal issues and leadership aspects of government. He taught in the graduate school of Public Administration at Oakland University and has been an instructor / lecturer at MSU, EMU, Oakland Community College, Kellogg Community College, Washtenaw Community College and others. Letzmann is certified as an instructor by the Michigan Law Enforcement Officers Training Council, Fire Fighter Training Council and Department of Labor (Act 54). Letzmann has been published in various periodicals, including the Journal of the State Bar of Michigan and the Detroit Lawyer, MAMA Legal Briefs, The Public Corporation Law Section Quarterly, the Michigan Municipal Review, the Michigan Township News, the Michigan Police Journal and the MML's Guide for Newly Elected Officials. He has been a guest columnist in various newspapers. He has received recognition from various groups, including the Michigan Municipal League's Award of Merit, the Bert Bergoyne Award from the Public Corporation Law Section of the State Bar of Michigan, the Michigan Municipal Attorney's Distinguished Service Award, and others.

Michael Reagan

Reagan is president and CEO of Project Rehab, a statewide non-profit health care organization based in Grand Rapids that provides substance abuse and mental health treatment and prevention services. Many of its clients are offenders. Reagan, who has a master’s degree in counseling psychology, is president of the Association of Michigan Licensed Substance Abuse Organizations, a member of the Criminal Justice Alcohol and Other Drug Abuse Statewide Task Force, a board member of the Citizens Alliance on Prisons and Public Spending. In 2006, Reagan was inducted into the Pi Alpha Alpha Honors Society.

Gustavo Rotondaro

Gustavo Rotondaro is the Associate Director of Technology for the Community research Institute at GVSU. In this role, he not only provides both research staff and nonprofit organizations with technical support in the use of Geographic Information Systems but also provides and disseminates data to assist the efforts of social services and nonprofit efforts in revitalizing communities.

Rotondaro received a Bachelor of Arts in Urban Studies from Cleveland State University and a Masters in Urban Planning, Development, and Design from Cleveland State University. In addition, he holds Geographic Information Systems certification in MapInfo and ArcView.

Margaret Sellers-Walker

Margaret Sellers-Walker is Associate Director of the Johnson Center for Philanthropy and Nonprofit Leadership. In 2001, she retired as Associate Professor in the School of Public and Nonprofit Administration. Prior to joining GVSU, Margaret served as Assistant City Manager for the City of Grand Rapids, Personnel Director for the Michigan Department of Natural Resources and Personnel Director for the Detroit Public Library. She is former President of the International Personnel Management Association. She holds a BS in Humanistic Studies from Wayne State University and a Masters of Public Administration from Western Michigan University.

Margaret actively participates on numerous community boards. Recognition for her professional and community service includes the Warner Stockberger Award presented by the International Personnel Management Association, The Tribute! Award from the YWCA, the Community Service Award presented by the Salvation Army and the "Women of Achievement and Courage" award from the Michigan Women's Foundation.
