Sources Guide
The GVSU Sources Guide is a topical arrangement of Grand Valley faculty
and staff members who can serve as sources for reporters in search of
commentary on breaking news stories or subjects for features.
The faculty members listed in the guide are also available as speakers for area
clubs and organizations. Arrangements can be made with the speakers directly
or through News & Information.

| Shapiro-Shapin, associate professor of history, is currently writing a history of the whooping cough vaccine titled, "Quieting the Cough: A Scientific Biography of Dr. Pearl Kendrick and Dr. Grace Eldering." Her teaching fields include the History of Medicine and Health, Women's History and American History. She was the Great Lakes History Conference coordinator from 1997 to 2001. |
