Biography

Professor Kennedy received his Doctorate from Binghamton University and comes to Grand Valley from the State University of New York at Cortland. While at SUNY Cortland he taught sociology, designed and directed the college's Honors Program, its International Studies Program and UniPlanet.net, a weekly international web site news magazine produced and written by students at universities in seven countries. Kennedy's areas of teaching and research are social control and long-range global social change.
