Social Science Lab Research Assistant Alexis Phillips Presents at Student Scholars Day
Social Science Lab Research Assistant Alexis Phillips recently presented at Grand Valley’s Student Scholars Day. Her project titled "Preserve or Modify? The Challenge of Accessible Outdoor Recreation", asked the question “what is the balance between keeping the environment preserved and modifying it to be compliant with the Americans with Disabilities Act?”. Alexis’ research was overseen by Prof. Amanda Buday and was conducted during the Winter 2024 semester.
