Len O'Kelly joins the School of Communications as Visiting Professor of Broadcasting after spending 25 years in radio. He has served as a news director, twice as a production director in Chicago and has programmed a number of radio stations in locations as close as Grand Rapids, MI and as far away as Gisborne, New Zealand. He has also served as an on-camera meteorologist for WYIN-TV in northwest Indiana, and has performed countless commercial and industrial voiceovers.
O'Kelly also serves as the faculty advisor for Grand Valley’s student-run radio station WCKS “The Whale” and for Grand Valley’s student-run television station GVTV.
