Come to the introductory meeting for the inaugural year of GVSU's new Civic Reporters program!
Room: Kirkhof 2259
Selected participants will embark on a year long experience with their peers reporting on one of three public issues (Immigration, Police Community Relations, or Development in relation to Gentrification) through The Rapidian. Along with the yearlong commitment, students will be asked to attend Civic Reporter Trainings, one Democracy 101 event per month, and publish two multimedia pieces per semester.
