Students are encouraged to meet with an advisor soon after arriving on campus and to consult with them regularly. Individual meetings with advisors are the best forum for discussing educational interests and goals, possible majors, course progress, or concerns. The majority of advising appointment are conducted at the Cook-DeVos Center for Health Sciences (CHS) in downtown Grand Rapids, however a limited number of appointments are available on the Allendale campus on select days. Students are encouraged to arrive on time and come prepared to actively participate in their advising session.
