The College of Health Professions Student Services Office (SSO) provides advising and referral services to students interested or majoring in Clinical Lab Science, Health Professions, Occupational Safety & Health Management, Radiologic and Imaging Sciences, Therapeutic Recreation as well as in our graduate programs which include Occupational Therapy, Physician Assistant Studies and Physical Therapy. The SSO is located in the Cook-DeVos Center for Health Sciences (CHS) building in downtown Grand Rapids.

Parking at the Cook-DeVos Center for Health Sciences

Visitors (non-GVSU students) will automatically be registered for a one day parking pass at the CHS building when they schedule their appointment through the College of Health Professions. Visitor parking entrance is off Lafayette on the North side of the CHS building.

 

GVSU students may not park at the CHS building and are encouraged to take the GVSU Campus Connector (Route 50) from Allendale or Dash to the Hill Express (Route 51) from the Pew campus.

 

Bus Route to Cook-DeVos Center for Health Sciences:
1. Get on the GVSU Campus Connector (Route 50) at either Allendale Campus bus stop  (located at Kirkhof Center or Mackinac Hall).
2. Get off the bus at the GVSU Downtown Campus at the bus stop located in front of the Seward Parking Ramp.
3. Walk across Lake Michigan Drive to the bus shelter located on Seward.
4. Get on the Dash to the Hill-CHS Express (Route 51) bus.
5. Get off the bus at the bus stop located at the CHS building.
