Overnight Service Trip

Date: Friday, February 9, 4pm - Saturday, February 10, 4pm
Meeting Location: 1104 Kirkhof Center
Service Location: At-Tawheed Islamic Center, Grand Rapids, Michigan

The Overnight Service Trip has returned to bring even more students out into the community of West Michigan.

The Overnight Service Trip program will prepare students for lives of engaged citizenship, educate students to challenge the prevailing social and economic inequalities, and encourage students to co-create mutually respectful partnerships.

Students will spend 1.5 days at the At-Tawheed Islamic Center learning how the organization impacts the Grand Rapids community and how our service as volunteers strengthens that impact. The CSLC will provide transportation to and from the Islamic Center and returning to the Allendale Campus. We will provide appropriate meals for all participants.
