Camp Quality of Michigan
August 11-17, 2013

Camp Quality is a one week long camp for children ages 4-17 who have cancer that takes place in Lake Ann, MI. Volunteers are needed to be a companion of a camper. We provide a unique one on one ratio of companion to camper, for a week where kids with cancer are able to just be kids. The role of a companion is to facilitate fun for a week! It is the companion’s job to make sure their camper is getting the most out of their week at camp. Volunteers will need to complete an online application (http://www.campqualityusa.org/mi/GetInvolved/Volunteer.aspx), fill out three reference forms, and have an informal in person interview so we can effectively pair you with a camper. There is also a mandatory training that must be completed either June 2 (in Freeland) or June 22nd (in Fenton) to become a companion as well. For more information, contact Sara Wyman at sara.wyman@campqualityusa.orgPosted 03/26/2013
