GVSU Blood Drives

Am Red Cross

MI Blood

Grand Valley State University has developed partnerships with the American Red Cross & Michigan Blood to host blood drives at GVSU campus locations.

Student organizations hosting a blood drive are responsible for: attending a pre-meeting with American Red Cross representative one month prior to the blood drive, providing volunteers the day of the drive, promoting the drive, getting blood donors to sign up for an appointment and communicating with the Red Cross and the CSLC. Student organizations wishing to host a blood drive should contact our CSLC Staff Assistant at cslcsm@gvsu.edu

American Red Cross blood drives are hosted every month by a registered student organization and are held in the Kirkhof Center of the Allendale campus.
