CSLC Sponsored Opportunities
The CSLC coordinates many opportunities for GVSU students to actively serve our surrounding community. Transportation and food are often provided during these opportunities. Theses opportunities range from campus-wide days of service (such as Make a Difference Day) to Overnight Service Trips, Service Saturdays, and more.
Event-Specific Volunteer Opportunities
These are volunteer opportunities that occur only one time on a specific date. They are great ways to fulfill volunteer hours when you cannot make a long-term commitment to an agency.
On-Going Volunteer Opportunities
These are volunteer opportunities that require a weekly, bi-weekly, or monthly commitment to a community organization. Some of these opportunities require a training session before an individual can volunteer.
Post Graduation Service Opportunities
Interested in volunteer service for one or more years as an alternative to entering the workforce or graduate school? Read through the things to consider, learn about opportunities both in the U.S. and abroad, and check out some other helpful resources!
Volunteer Service Trips
These are volunteer & service trips that are a weeklong or more. Some occur over winter break, spring break and the summer.
